To ensure accurate measurements, you begin by calibrating it with a simple three-step process: close all non-essential applications to minimize battery usage, place your device next to a standard thermometer for about 10 to 15 minutes, and then adjust the temperature readings in the settings to match that of the thermometer. This calibration step is crucial for obtaining precise temperature data.

Once calibrated, measuring the surrounding air temperature is equally straightforward. You'll need to deactivate unnecessary apps again to maintain a neutral thermal state and leave your device at the desired location for 10 to 15 minutes. For optimal accuracy, it's recommended to position your phone in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and at least a meter away from any nearby objects.
